English Premier League fixtures 2020-21 SEASON: Opening weekend

The 2020-21 fixtrures have been announced, defending champions Liverpool have been been handed a tricky start to their title defence against Leeds, Chelsea and Arsenal to start their 2020-21 season.

The defending champions will welcome Marcelo Bielsa’s led side at the anfield on the opening weekend followed by a mouth watering clash against Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge. There third match will be against Arsenal.

Manchester United's clash against Tottenham on October 3 at Old Trafford could be one of the first fixtures to welcome fans back to the stadium since the start of lockdown in March due to corona virus , with the government looking to allow 30 per cent of capacity crowds from October 1.

Manchester United’s season will kick start on the second weekend against Crystal Palace. Their opening fixture has been moved back along with their fierce neighbors Manchester City due to their late runs in this season’s European club competition.

The red devil face a tough October - after Tottenham, they will be away to Newcastle before hosting Chelsea and Arsenal at Old Trafford. United host neighbors Manchester City for the first time on December 12.Their clash with Liverpool will have to wait until January 16.

Manchester City have a tricky start to their season with a trip to Wolves in the second week followed by a home clash against Leicester, a trip to Leeds and a home tie against Arsenal.

Chelsea open the season with an away trip to Brighton, they play Liverpool at the Stamford Bridge in their second match of the season. After playing Liverpool, they meet newly promoted West Brom.

Arsenals start their season with a trip across to London to face newly promoted side Fulham. Arsenal will then host another London rival West ham before they lock horns against Liverpool in their third match of the season.

Tottenham open the season with a match against Everton.
