With only 20 minutes remaining, Aubameyang punished the FA Cup holders as Arsenal broke forward on the counter attack with a very clean finish through Ederson’s legs from the Scottish Tierney’s pass.
Pep Guardiola’s team dominated possession in the closing stages of the match with Arsenal confined into their own third but could not find the back of the net that would get them back into the challenge.

Aubameyang is yet to agree with new terms at Arsenal as his contract is ending this summer. ButArteta feels he is more likely to be tempted into signing an extension if the club can continue to put in such displays, and win the FA Cup possibly.
“Hopefully it will help him to be more convinced we are going in the right direction,” Arteta spoke after he beat his former boss’ team.
