Rashford made a low key second half appearance against Norwich during their FA Cup tie

'He'll definitely score soon': Ole Gunnar backs Rashford to score soon.

Manchester united manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer expects Marcus Rashford to soon rediscover his scoring boots and be among the goals for Manchester united. The England forward has 22 goals for club and country this season and was on course for his best season ever for Manchester united before suffering a double stress fracture of his back.

The United forward has yet to score for Manchester united since top-flight football resumed from its coronavirus hiatus. The Premier League shutdown has enabled Rashford to recover from a double back fracture that threatened to end his season prematurely.

The 22-year-old has however compensated his goal drought by providing two assists for Anthony Martial in last week's 3-0 victory against Sheffield United played at the Old Trafford.

On the absence of fans at the Amex Stadium, The united manager said

‘Of course, fans matter and have an impact on games. To get out of this lockdown period is going to be fantastic.

‘The lack of fans affects the players. The game looks slower I think, without the fans. The noise and passion helps, even the view from the sofa.

‘But all the physical stats show it’s not a big difference. The ball is more in play at the moment but you've got to create your own atmosphere and enthusiasm in there.

‘Some players thrive on crowds, some players relax more with no crowd and express themselves more. Individual teams and players react differently.’
