Arsenal have confirmed Henrikh Mkhitaryan has joined Roma on a permanent basis following his successful loan spell.
Mkhitaryan was on loan to Roma last season and made 27 appearances in all competitions providing six assists and scoring nine goals.

The 31-year-old Armenian international had one year left on his contract with Arsenal but it has been confirmed they have terminated the contract by mutual consent to make a free transfer to Roma.
Mkhitaryan joined Arsenal from Manchester United in January 2018 on swap deal with Alexis Sanchez joining the red devils.
The Armenia confirmed his switch to Roma via instagram and took the opportunity to thank former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger for the faith he showed to snap him to Arsenal.
"I’m delighted to announce that I have permanently joined the Giallorossi," he wrote in the caption.

"Firstly, I would like to thank Arsenal, its personnel and the millions of Gunners, all whom supported me over the past year and a half. A special thanks goes to Arsene Wenger for having brought me to the club and for his trust in me.

Mkhitaryan made 59 appearances for Arsenal, scoring nine goals and racking up 13 assists.
