Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang gives hint about future as he bags a comfortable brace against Norwich

Arsenal skipper Pierre-EmerickAubameyang scored his 50th premier league goal against Norwich City. The Gunners’ top scorer ended up scoring a brace in a comfortable 4-0 victory for the North London club.

The Gabon international was on the score sheet for the first time since the restart of the premier league restart. Both his goals were gifts from the Norwich side, the first one from Krul, while the second one from a horrible back pass from a throw in.

“I know (fans want me to sign a new contract) and I am really happy that Bukayo Saka signed ‘da ting’ and now we’ll see,” Aubameyang gave a clearer picture of the current situation in the post-match interview, “we’ll talk with the football club and see what happens but first of all, I am really focused on the games coming until the end of the season, so we’ll see.”

The player 31-year-old striker was also the fastest Arsenal player to reach the 50 goals mark in the Premier League, which came after 79 league games. But he did not seem exhilarated about his own achievements, as the player was so ecstatic for the three points.

Arsenal will be desperate for a European spot next season, as they are six points of the 5th place currently. The Gunners have already made the loan deals permanent of Pablo Mari and Cedric Soares, who also had his first debut goal at home.
